| And the good point above about teenage youth pregnancy rates. I do think, though, that we all need to try to stop the US v. Sweden arguments which are so often based upon solitary incidents that are then cited as proof of a greater truth. I think of my self as an youth American-Swedish-Englishman, as I've lived my adult life youth in those three countries. I love the three equally, and find them equally exasperating. But you simply cannot make sweeping statements about things like the morality of a nation based on the politics of its government. Human morality -- for both good and bad -- has a curious way of being quite removed from decisions made in Downing Street, Pennsylvania Avenue, or Riksgatan.
