A judge continued her bond at $200,000. The boy’s mother told Eyewitness News 4 that Garcia all things considered and the boy met through family members. It was during the second incident that the mother spotted the boy at the New Mexico State Fair where Garcia was employed as a carnival worker. The mother called police who arrested Garcia. The mother says the boy admitted to having sex with Garcia several times. She said he no longer wants to attend his junior high school and she is trying to find him counseling. During the morning court session, prosecutors argued that Garcia’s bond should remain at $200,000. They pointed out she has a history of 17 misdemeanor charges, 10 felonies and several instances of probation violations. |
