What I couldn't landscape find in the article landscape was a clear sense of what the story is. Is there a point? In the end, does Nikki's on-screen doppelganger leave this life behind her? Does she find it unfulfilling and longs for something else? Or is it just a parade of titillating images landscape (that, of course, all we right-minded people would refuse to find titillating) that purports to be an expose of the secret lives of those damn kids today? There is no indication of "exploitation of a minor". I mean, we're talking LA here, buddy. Seems to me that Nikki is exploiting herself, if anything. Some folks call that "having a career". Yes, and many people would stop their child from doing something that might not be in her long term best interests. Some folks call that "parenting," even in L.A. And I didn't mean "exploitation of a minor" in the legally euphemistic sense of molestation, but that people who are supposed to be looking out for someone who, in the eyes of the law, cannot look out for herself are using her for their own gains.
