She is a nationally and internationally recognized scholar in research and evaluation methods, theory development focusing on disability as human diversity, and received a Fullbright Scholarship in 2003. Dr. DePoy has authored and/or co-authored seven books, has contributed chapters to numerous edited collections, and has published over 50 peer reviewed articles.
