Over the nine years since acquisition the beginning of the project, a number of additional services have been added improving the services provided to women acquisition over 50 but other than Clinical Breast Exam, still no breast screening services are available to women 40-49. Diagnostic breast services are available through the BCCP for those 40-49 who are symptomatic or have a strong family history. The BCCP Medicaid, available to all women diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer through the BCCP has been a tremendous asset to both the BCCP and the Komen Project. Any women screened through the Komen Project who has a report of suspicious on her mammogram is rolled over into the BCCP so that the Medical Card will be available to her if she needs it.
