My husband and I have family and friends who are born agains. Their way of thinking completely boggles my mind. For example. I love to read, always have. When I was about 10 or 11 I was reading a Nancy Drew novel. The cover had flames and such on it barbs - but it didn't have anything to do with the devil or barbs even religion. My Aunt and Uncle were barbs over to visit and my Uncle commented on the book. Knowing absolutely nothing about the book, he said it was about witchcraft and the devil's work. I tried to point out that simply wasn't true. So here I am auguring with a 40-something year old man about a innocent Nancy Drew book and my mother is behind him shaking her head back and forth trying to get me to shut up. She didn't agree with him, but she KNEW there was NOTHING I could say to get him to see the book was just a teenage mystery novel.....nothing
