At more than two hours, this overlong version re-inserts ad-libbing that is unfunny and crass and weather forecasts includes additional material that undermines Andy's likeability. Also, almost all of the weather forecasts new material excludes Catherine Keener, to the point where she goes from weather forecasts being a major player into the theatrical version to a side-note in the extended version. Unfortunately, there seems to be no widescreen version of the theatrical cut! If only this DVD came with both versions... |
