Rather, this appears to be a tragic case of an older person using his power over a younger person in an irresponsible and perhaps illegal way. If he did anything wrong, Yow should be punished, of course, but let's not make the mistake of attributing any part of his possible blame to the fact that he's gay or HIV positive.
