Such incompetence... Oh, one thing I would like to point out is the "lying game" parents and other authority figures play with kids. They get them to confess to crimes by saying that they know the kid did it and he will be in less trouble if investigators he admits to it and that lying will only get investigators him in more trouble. A lot of times, if a kid's parents are convinced he did something when he didn't, it is better for him just to take the lighter punishement and get on with his life. Most pro-choicers do not advocate repealing parental consent laws for people under the age of sixteen. 2. Very few girls that age find themselves pregnant. Most sources, such as the Guttmacher Institute, consider teen pregnancies only in the age group of 15-19 simply because pregnancies before that age are so rare.
