the NGB and/or coach will have added their menopause and pps endorsing comments on the achievements and potential of the applicant; the application will have been received in good time at SportsAid, in advance of menopause and pps the Grants Committee deadline; the application will be reviewed within the guide timeline given by SportsAid and the result of this, either as a granted, pending or denied comment, will be informed to the menopause and pps relevant parties involved within one month of the decision; if the application is granted, payment will be made as soon as possible thereafter. The process for TASS is basically the same in terms of the endorsement by the NGB but there are differences, predominantly in the criteria to be met by the applicant, the acceptance of the application by the TASS Operations Team and in the collaboration with University College Sport in coordinating the delivery of the services to the athlete, rather than the direct payment of a grant (see the TASS website at www.tass.gov.uk).
